hey guys, so today i ran into a major problem with my computer,

for about 30-40 mins, my computer has been restarting itself, but not the monitor, keyboard and mouse, staying on for about 5 secs, then shutting off for about 5 secs, then repeating, before this happened, i got a blue screen of death, saying something about a memory dump, but shut off itself before i could read it, it restarted.

my computer finally displayed a screen saying my bios is corrupted, and it tried rebooting from, the backup bios, it was successful, but then went back to what it was doing early, and did the back up again, but stopped at 6%, and seems to have frozen. it says not to shut off or reset.

what should i do,

also, the system is custom built,

cpu: i5 3750k
motherboard: gigabyte z77 uh3
gpu: geforce 660 ti
ram: 8 gb of kingston,
hard drive: 2 laser, black 2 tera asus

any suggestions would be much appreciated

I was having the same issue with my Maximus V Formula when I first got it. When I talked to a friend about it he mentioned I should update the bios as soon as I did the problem went away and I have never had a single crash with my computer ever since
