PSU adequate for overclocking?

Hi, I'm just learning how to overclock and started out on my GPU. I managed to get it a tad bit higher without fiddling with too much - I didn't want to take too many risks.
My question here is whether my power supply unit will provide enough power to overclock to decent levels. Specifically, I am planning to try CPU overclocking and want to know if I have enough headroom.

PSU: Corsair CX600 600w
GPU: Sapphire 7870 OC edition, OC'd to 1160 Core and 1360 Memory with 20% more power (I'm using ATI Catalyst Control Center because it seems simple).
CPU: i7 3770k at stock

How would I even begin to figure out how to overclock my CPU? If I am able to OC decently on the CPU, how much do you think would be reasonable? Thanks.

Decent value cooler actually - 4.3 shouldn't be an issue - maybe higher given other variables. Though over 4.5 will be thermally unlikely. 600w might be pusing it close for remaining ripple free in the power supply too. I'd really only advise 4.3 or so. do as you will of course, just my suggestion
