I am in the market for a new CPU cooler.

I have an Intel i7 2600k.

For the last couple of years I have owned 2 different Corsair closed liquid cooling units, the Corsair Hydro series H50 and the H60. Both have died from about a year's use.

So I wanted to know what the best CPU coolers are for an Intel CPU. I did a little research online but didn't find much of what information I was looking for.

Solution
CLC are still the best way to go, short of a custom loop. Depending on what your budget it, and what type of radiator you can use, I'd go with the Swiftech h220. It's about 150 dollars, but performs almost as well as the top 140mm x2 coolers, while being able to fit in more cases because it's a 120mm x 2. It also is designed to be taken apart and used in a custom loop setup later, which you can't do with most other CLC's.

If you are tired of the Closed Loop Cooler scene, I'd look at the Noctua NH-U14s for under 70 dollars. It performs rather well, nearly as well as the best heatsink/fan combo cooler out there, while not being nearly as big or loud. Or, Phanteks has a nice cooler, as well as the Silver Arrow.
