I'm using a 660 Ti SLI configuration and I have a problem where some games stutter. It's not micro stutter I don't think since they don't play at 60FPS to start, and when I use a single card they play better, like in Borderlands 2. Is there some fix to this? It doesn't happen in all games, I run Far Cry 3 max aside from having pre rendered frames all the way up, but BF3 in multiplayer I have to go to medium settings for smooth gameplay.

my setup:
Win 7
1920x1200 Res
nvidia gtx 660 Ti's
8gb G.SKill sniper series ram
AMD FX 6300 Processor
Nvidia GTX 660 Ti in SLI

You could try using Rivatuner or Nvidia Inspector to force an FPS cap (try different FPS's) and see if that achieves anything.

don't mean to be negative but in all the games in the recent past BF3 seems to have to be pampered to run good why is that? maybe poor or piss ass programming or maybe orgin.... I don't run into those probs with steam but there was a time...

Sorry, bf3 stuttering was on my end, had is set to use single GPU for some reason. now it's really just BL2, although for that I set it to use 1 GPU and the other for the PhysX and now it's fine.

My bro had all kinds of problems with BF3 EVEN AFTER we changed power supply and hard drive he still had issue I also own it but I have been blessed it runs fine but I don't play it as of yet maybe 30 mins so I haven't experienced the problems so many have had but have read so much online about it not being fully cooked game yet and BF4 is on way its way lol

Fixed this myself. What was happening was that my CPU was bottle-necking my GPU. It has a stock 3.5Ghz setting, and by enabling Turbo through BIOS, which upped it to 4.1 GHZ, all my games run seamlessly. BL2 and BF3 have absolutely no problem staying at 60fps on max settings at 1080p.
