8Gb or 16Gb / 1600Mhz or higher?

Solution
You'll only need 8gb for gaming, and 1.5v or below is best for Haswell. C8 etc is the CAS latency, which is how many cycles your RAM will be able to make. You really won't notice the difference between C8 and C10 when gaming, so I wouldn't worry too much about it - but basically the lower, the better. As for your build, I seriously recommend that you don't buy Dominator Platinum. It's a complete ripoff for the price. It's double the price of other Corsair RAM which is just as good. You're just paying a premium for the aesthetics. If you want good-looking RAM for a good price then I recommend Corsair Vengeance Pro - stick to 1600Mhz, as that's best for Intel.

Solution
New intel CPU the ib and haswell look for 1.5v or less. The c number is a speed number on how fast the ram can refresh. There not much diffrance. Most 1600 stock ram is c9 in speed. Most gaming rigs are fine with eight gigs. If do video editing or large photo editing get the extra ram.
