Yes I know it is against your rules but, I can provide irrefutable evidence that it is infact mine. I have the electronic order receipt and the warranty information in my name. I have important school information stored on this drive and I can't get at it.

Why not? What do you need I can give you all the evidence you need. I know you are hesitant to help because hacking isn't legal but if I can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this is my drive why are you still refusing? I'm not going to sue you for helping me to break into my own fricking drive.

What part of no one here can help you bypass a password for ANY reason dont you get? Not to mention, if your hard drive is encrypted, no one here can bypass that kind of security anyhow. If you lost the password for an encrypted drive, you are screwed, plain and simple.

Hell, all I really need is a way to get one file with my schoolwork off of it I don't really need it to be cracked I just want those files. surely that isn't illegal..

Also you are going around getting help the wrong way. If you lose the password, then you should of made sure you could remember it shouldn't you?

I do know it. I just can't get the combination right from the hint. I know it's a combination of two of my main passwords.
