Dedicated Video Memory/Performance

I checked some of the settings on my computer after frustrated with a new game due to its unplayability on my computer.

Apparently I have NO dedicated video memory. It is an Intel graphics chipset (965 Family), which means I cannot increase it. It says it has 358 MB total available graphics memory, while dedicated is 0, system video memory is 128 MB, and system shared memory is 230 MB.

Is there ANYTHING I can do to improve my computer's performance that isn't on some of these silly "Improve computer's performance!" sites?

Solution
Install a dedicated graphics card. Nothing else.

You can get fairly passable performance out of newer integrated graphics without dedicated memory, but yours is a bit old.
