Is the AMD Vishera FX-8350 CPU compatible with the MSI 760GA-P43FX motherboard?

I'm planning to buy the AMD Vishera FX-8350 but I'm not sure if it's compatible with the MSI 760GA-P43FX motherboard.

  1. Even if it were compatible, adding a 125W CPU to a 760 chipset board is a pretty bad idea.
  2. AND NOW THE TRUTH. YES YOU CAN RUN EVERYBODY A FX 8320/50 ON MSI 760GA P43FX UNTIL 4.2GHZ. THIS MOBO SUPPORTS UNTIL 140 WATT, YES ITS 4+1 PHASE MOBO BUT A FX8320/50 ITS 4 MODULES/2CORES PER MODULE, WITH AN UPDATE ITS OKEY . THIS MOBO WILL NOT TAKE YOU AT 4.7 GHZ AIR COOL OR 5GHZ WATER COOL BECAUSE OF THE PHASES . THERMAL WALL IS ON 4.3 GHZ ON AFTERMARKET AIR COOL. I RUN ON THIS MOBO A FX 8320 AT 4GHZ, THANK GOD WITH NO PROBLEM AT ALL. I KNOW THAT IS AN OLD POST BUT WE MUST TELL THE TRUTH.

LOL we shall see how long that lasts...
  4. IT WILL LAST. THE ONLY PROBLEM YOU WILL NOT PUT STEAMROLLER INSIDE THERE IN THE FUTURE AND YOU OVERCLOCK A FX8350/20 AT TURBO SPEEDS ONLY. THE 990FXA ITS FUTURE PROOF {STEAMROLLER}, AND YOU OVERCLOCK FX 8320/50 ON THEIR LIMITS. IF YOU DISAGREE ITS YOUR RIGHT .

Please stop capping the whole time.

Anyway, its not a disagreement, FX runs extremely power hungry. 760 just does not cut it. but ok. Moving on.
