What is the difference between a normal 7.1 soundcard and an Asus Xonar DG?

I found this website where you can choose the components of the PC youself and they build it and send it to you. I can choose between ''7.1 sound card'' or ''Asus Xonar DG''. Can someone tell me the difference?
The Asus Xonar DG is 35 bucks more.

Not worth it. Stick with the sound card that is on your mobo. A $35 sound card will not provide much if any improvement.

if you have to pick, pick the one with the make and model. not just a generic 7.1 sound card.
