Hello.

Well, I recently got a Asrock P67 Fatal1ty Performance motherboard and since I still dont have a LGA 1155 cpu, I was just looking at the mobo and I noticed, that the CPU uses 8pin connector. But the problem is, that my PSU (Chieftec 650-14cs) only has a 4pin connector. Can I use another slot from my PSU, since its a modular one? Please help.

Unless you plan on overclocking a power hungry processor, the 4 pin connector is fine.

i just googled your psu and on the manufacture web site it says that psu has an 8pin cpu power cable?

Holy moly! Sorry for the disturb, the 4pin is a built in cable, but the 8pin is a modular one, so no worries anymore.
