Gtx 770 sli Fan Issue

hello all, I recently purchased 2 gig gtx 770 oc and on boot my fans are on full load until windows kicks in, all temps are fine in games and i clean my pc out every month. i have recently updated my bios and the problem still occurs is this normal?

Specs

i5 3570k 4ghz

asrock z77 extreme4

coolermaster silent pro 1000w

Corsair 1600 vengeance ram

Corsair 120g ssd

Hafx nvidia edition

Gtx 770 sli

are you using afterburner oc utility as well ?
happened to me exactly the same problem with my recently bought 7870xt. when overclocked fans are at full speed untill you start and application then the fan curve starts to act and fan speeds turn back to normal.
well, if you are overclocked turn back to default settings. and then work your way with another oc setup.
at least it worked for me. good luck

Yea i am using afterburner, ill give it try, i uninstalled evga x and still the same, i just dont like the idea of when i reformat to having the fans going all out for 20 mins while i get all my drivers installed lol.

I have the gigabyte model, maybe they do the same thing
