GPU = EVGA GTX 660 2GB SC
RAM = 8GB Kingston Hyper X

This is my desktop and was thinking of what to upgrade next? any recomendations?
was thinking of changing the mobo and the Processor but can only upgrade one at a time, what should i change first and what should i change it with?
thanks in Advance :D

I agree, im just saying that it would be difficult to upgrade his mobo at a later date, and find something good, since they might get discontinued in favor of newer chipsets.

Honestly though, there is no point in a mobo upgrade anyways (not really worth to upgrade to an old chipset so you can get a lil performance from OC), just get a new cpu and enjoy it, then get a new system later

my opinion would be to wait, if you can, and buy both a mobo and cpu combo. if you upgrade your cpu now, you would have to buy an older gen cpu which will be essentially obsolete by the time you get around to buying a mobo.

if you want a quick increase in power, yes, get a new cpu, but don't count on upgrading it in the future. most likely, you would have to buy a new cpu/mobo combo

to be honest haswell isnt a great jump over ivy bridge though (which he is already using in his older chipset mobo, so the bios must be flashed). if he got a 3570(k), he wouldnt be missing out on much, something like less than 10% performance and a couple of low power sleep states
