Which one to choose between these combination Intel i5-4430 + Asus b85m-g Or fx 6300+ Asus m5A97 Evo considering I building new rig for gaming with nvdia 650ti boast?

The 4430 is probably a better choice over an FX6300 if not overclocking. The 4430 matches up more to an 8320/8350. The FX has an advantage of overclocking, so that might push it just slightly ahead.

So even for gaming intel would be better? Since now some games like bf3 uses more than 2 cores when playing multiplayer so wont the amd have a advantage over the intel? Please clear my query if thats not the case

and if i goes with intel what would you suggest? the model i specified ie 4th gen processor or should i go with more clock speed 3rd gen processor of same price? And what about the motherboard i specified with the intel processor? is it good or any other suggestion within that price bracket

Same price ivy gets you same clockspeed as haswell looking at newegg prices right now. Since you would not be overclocking, that board is fine for a 4430. 4430 is a quad core. Like I said, FX would probably be the better buy if wanting to overclock. @ stock, a 4430 is equal to an 8350. Overclocking would put the FX 6300 probably on par to slightly better for less $$$, depending on how much of an overclock you are capable of achieving. Overclocks to 4.0-5.0 are fairly common with those chips.
