Laptop being slow when play 1.8Ghz game

i have a 2.20Ghz 8Gb ram with 750Gb hard drive when im playing this game its lagging abit but its hard to play what do i do or what do i need to Buy to make it fast or stop?

Like others have said, you need to give better details for us to help. If you don't know the details here is how you get them.

For cpu:

Windows 7

Click on start, then control panel. Then click on system and security, then system. Your cpu well be listed here.

Windows 8

Press the Windows button + c then click the magnifying glass on the side. Type control panel then click on control panel in the results. Follow the rest of the steps for Windows 7.

For gpu:

Windows 7

Click start, then type dxdiag in the search box (I believe, it's been awhile) Then press enter. Click on display, your gpu is listed in the top right.

Windows 8

Press the Windows key + c. Type dxdiag and click on it in the results. The rest is the same as Windows 7...

Just because you have a faster processor than the minimum required doesn't mean you get good performance. Your graphics card matters far more.
