Hey all,

I'm looking at building up a new gaming computer and found this GPU. I've heard okay reviews but my main question is:
Will this GPU take me into the future when it comes to games?

For example, if I want to play things like Dark Souls II or BF4, will I run into problems?

SAPPHIRE 100311-3L Radeon HD 6970 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card

Thanks for your help in advance, Tom's has never let's me down!

A GTX 760 would be a good choise but you appear to be looking for something in the sub $200 price range. You're options are basically the GTX 660 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127707) or the HD 7870 which is on sale right now (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131492)
The 6970 will likely run BF4 and Dark Souls II with medium and high settings mixed. However, the GTX 760 or Radeon 7950 are better choices than the 6970 due to a bit better performance and should carry you into 2015 with medium settings, giving you time to upgrade. The 6970 could possibly run games in 2015 at all low\with medium mixed from what I see. The 6970 is end of life and it would be much better to buy a recent card like the 7950 or GTX 760.
