Hi, I have a new GTX680 4GB and in Age of Conan when I enter 1 specific Dungeon my FPS go up to 180 and with that the temp and the power usage.
VSync to adaptiv didn't help.
Is there a way to caps the fps rate at 60 or something like that ?

There is often a setting called v-sync. That will sync the FPS with your monitors frame rate.

Adaptive VSync should be all that you need. Make sure you have it enabled in the Global Settings and in the Program Settings for the Conan game.

Are you running it in windowed mode? IIRC Vsync doesn't work in windowed mode. Though I heard that info quite a while ago so things might have changed.

Alternatively to vsync, you can use a FPS limiter. MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision X have built in versions.

I tried Vsync already.. but that didn't help.
Thx to mouse24 it is the broken window mode. Not only that Vsync doesn't work, even several other settings must be broke because the fps in logon screen drops from 60 in fullscreen to 10-20 in window mode. Also, fps limiter from MSI doesn't work in window mode either :(
The most stupid thing ever, cause I use 2 screens normally and yea... that sucks

Thanks for the answers

Download Nvidia Inspector, you can set an FPS cap through that. Click the wrench icon, at the top where it says 'profiles' type the name of the game, scroll down to 'Frame Rate Limit' and choose one.
