I just broke another pair of skull candy Ink'd 2.0 Earbuds. I keep getting them wrapped around objects in my house (like kitchen door knobs or chairs) I have spent anywhere from $10-$65 on earbuds and they don't seem to last, the cable snaps with little to no effort. the longest time i have had a pair of earbuds is 2.5 months. IF they dont snap, then they stop working on one side, I listen to dub-step/electronic/glitch step. Im looking for something with good base and something that maybe has a steel mesh cording. im willing to spend up to $75, but if there is something tat will last a long time and that has a great warranty i might be willing to spend more.

There is one pair that looked ok, but i cant find any real reviews on them,

I ended up buying the tweeds and returned them about 3 days later. They felt well made but did not sound good at all when I was playing dub-step/dance music. It sounded muddy. So I kept looking for another couple of days and found (and ordered) some products from "The House of Marley"

I ended up buying http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00682ZXVA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2UC2YI2LDBEMG
These ear-buds are the most well made ear-buds I have ever seen, they are made out of a light maple wood and solid reinforced aluminium body. The wires were covered in a cloth like fabric that made them not even feel like wires, but just another part of clothing, it also made them extremely durable. And the sound was unbeatable, Personally...

Skull Candys are crap nowadays. I've always loved them, but they've gone downhill recently.

I have a pair of Dr Dre Beats earbuds at the moment (not the over-ear headphones) and they're great. Bass and sound quality is superb, and quality of "build" is really good. I got mine for £70, so I don't know how much that would be in the USA - maybe 100$?

Since that's a bit over your budget, I'd recommend Sennheiser. I had a pair of Sennheiser earbuds that cost me £50, and they were awesome. I lost them though :)() then subsequently bought my Beats. I'd definitely buy some Sennheisers again though. They were probably better than my Beats to be honest.

Hope this helps :D

I was looking at Sennheisers earbuds, but will they last? They look like they heave a really thin cord. Im looking for something durable, iv always loved Sennheisers earbuds but they broke after about a month.

Really? I had my Sennheisers for maybe 10 months or so. They would've lasted me a lot longer if I hadn't of lost them.

EDIT: I had the Sennheiser MX 581 earbuds. Dunno if you've tried them before, but they were durable because the cord was like, metal woven? Don't really know how to describe it. Tangle-proof as well.

Ya, the price is great, I like the Braided cord too, maybe it will last longer :) The MX 581 had a braided metal cord as well, but they seem to have some kind of defect with one side of the ear buds to stop working after a couple of months. But I love Sennheisers over the ear headsets, maybe ill try there earbuds later :)

I must've been lucky then - I never had that problem :p

Aiye, they are good! I might buy some Sennheiser over-ears soon. They have some pretty cool bluetooth ones - then I can be free from cords

I'm glad you've found something good, and I hope they last you :D

Take care, mate.

They sounded great for Electro music and for old rock, the bass was perfect, and the highs were not to high so that they hurt me ears :)

I also ended up getting http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005V7YIGE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1M0GZGHL8F7T8
I needed a new pair so I ended up getting these. The are also extremely well made and sound great. They are not noise canceling but they still are one of the best on ear headphones I have bought.

And finally my friend ordered http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FO2DGU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AWQBYDDNHZJUJ He listens to old rock and says they are great.
