Hi guys.

Currently my system is:

Case - CiT Templar Case Micro ATX Form Factor
Mobo - ASrock Extreme 4-m
GPU - EVGA GTX 670
CPU - i5-3570k Stock no overclock
8gb ram
1tb HDD

As you can see on this link, there is only one case fan on the left hand side. This is located just above the GPU, at about the same level as the CPU and is the case fan I am using.

I sometimes see temperatures of my GTX 670 at around 80 degrees under load, playing Farcry 3 on ultra settings. I want this lower.

I have also created a fan curve for my GPU which helps for the GPU to stay around 75 degrees which isn't too bad.

However, where in this case could I put another case fan? I don't have a clue as there is no room at all now. I've heard people cut out parts of their case on the outside to allow for another fan to replace the missing slot.

Any ideas?

I would really suggest getting a new case if these thermals are really bothering you. I am guessing from what you have said that mounting a fan on panel isn't an option due to space, from the graphics card I imagine. This just seems a project that a lot of time and effort could be put into with little return.

If I were you, I would probably just reassemble the system in something like this:

A case like that is really designed for what your system is going for, that is, big performance in a little package. As v1zzle said, 75 degrees is nothing to be worried about. Provided your CPU isn't running hot for some reason, you could get by...

75 degrees is not bad. You have to take in account that you have a Micro ATX form factor case and a huge video card with not a whole lot of room to breathe. I have a GTX 670 in my Obsidian 800D case (and that thing is huge) and I hit around 68 on load. I think you're fine. GPU's can sustain higher temps than CPU's.
I do remember once, I had a 9800 GX2 (dual-GPU) in a mid-sized tower. I had temps reaching as high as 90 degrees. I replaced the case with a Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 and dropped almost 20 degrees. Just to give you an idea on proper air flow is very important
