We have a cable modem and an Apple Express router connected to it. Problem is that we can only get internet in one room as we have cement walls with rebar between each room. What is the best way to get internet in the rest of the house which is basically a square donut with courtyard in the middle?Remember all the walls are cement with rebar with hallways connecting the rooms in the form of a square donut..

Route an Ethernet cable thru the wall (or under the floor if you have crawl space, or above the ceiling). And put a drop in each room. While doing that - run extra coax and phone cables as well.

Option 2: Get Etnernet-over-Power adapters, and cross your fingers that all of your rooms are on single electrical phase ;)

Thank you for your answers. How do the powerline adapters work? Are there 2 adapters and they both have to be on the same electrical circuit as well as the router connected to the cable modem? And do you have to plug your laptop into the powerline adapter to get internet or does the powerline adapter give you internet wirelessly?
