i only want to do this a temp solution because i already have the cpu and just dont have the funds for the mobo i want and probably wont be able to get it for a few months i know that the b75 cant oc but thats fine i just need to know if the mobo and cpu will pair together.

Solution

it will be fine, go for it.

install the CPU and then boot the rig, it will then get to windows and windows updates will do it's thing
and reconfigure for the new / changed CPU.
then it will prompt you for a reboot.
reboot and done.

what current CPU does the Dell B75 have or had in it last?
is there any BIOS update for it, look on the Dell.com website.?

at first guess it should work or it's at least possible..

it has a pentium currently and the bios is up to date just did that a few days ago on dells website it says it is compatible up to an i5 but does not list the 3570k but i figured that might be because theres no reason to use a processor with unlocked multipliers on a board that cant oc
