Hey guys,

My power supply finally arrived (YAY!!) and I should be ready to finish up my build, but in checking my plugs I found that there is a little 4-pin "ATX12V" connector on my motherboard, but I can't seem to find any plugs on my power supply that match it. What am I supposed to put in this connector, or should I leave it unplugged?

There's a similar looking one that is detatchable from the long "EATXPWP" plug, but I'm pretty sure that is supposed to go together into its respective port. The only other thing that might be related is this 8-pin connector labeled "CPU", but I'm not sure if that would even work if I left pins hanging out due to the pin shapes not lining up.

Please help me figure this out, I'm really excited to test out this rig! :D

Most of the 8-pin cpu connectors can be split in half to work with boards that use a 4-pin connector instead of the 8.

Oh good, that worked. The clip was in the middle, so that made me not realize that it could separate.

Thanks man!
