Hello I am having a strange issue with my current media centre setup.
Specs
HP HDX premium series notebook w/ intel graphics
Samsung 50" Plasma tv
Current resolution 1920x1080@60Hrz
Current drivers
using HDMI port on laptop to TV
The lid on the laptop is closed, and that display is disabled, all sleep functions and lid functions have been disabled.
I have had this problem on a couple of TV's so i am sure the TV is not the issue,
ISSUE:
When i am watching a movie or tv or even listening to music intermittently the display will go black, just for a few seconds then come back, the audio also goes silent for the entire time, the media has continued through the blackout.
i have tried everything i can think of including formatting and re installing everything, it is currently running windows 8, using PLEX as a source for the media.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
