Straight forward question...

Solution
Memory isnt expensive these days, get a set of two as the motherboard is designed for dual channel - utilizing two memory sticks at once. The idea is to get them in kits so they're binned together. But just for testing purposes 1 stick is fine, just depends if you see yourself buying more ram later if all works out fine.

get some gskill/corsair/kingston 1333MHz 1.5v memory as this is the maximum recommended speed without the need for any special bios mode or overclock setting as the (O.C.) next to the memory speed implies an overclock to achieve those memory speeds, usually by setting AMP (AMD Memory Profile) or adjusting the memory values manually.

For reliable testing get DDR3 1066 or 1333.

Thanks boju.

As i said, it's just for a test. I bought the board a while back from a friend (He said it might not work), but a couple of days ago a friend sold me a AM2 processor + board / ram. The ram obviously doesn't work with the EVO board, so im just looking to buy some ram to test the EVO Board and make sure it works.

Thanks for the response tho, i think that will do it.
