I am currently in the process of researching for my new gaming PC so far these are the parts I have decided on.

Case - Rosewill THRONE Gaming ATX Full Tower Computer. I have chosen this case because I plan on doing a lot of customization down the road and the extra room is very welcoming.

Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD7. I chose this board because I hear it pairs well with my CPU.

PSU - OCZ ZT Series 750W Fully-Modular. Read a lot of great reviews on this one.

RAM - G.Skill Sniper 8GB DDR3 1600 Ram
Now when it comes to RAM I do not know what to look for, but after watching a few videos I have decided on these ones.

CPU - Amd FX-8350 4.0 ghz, I read that this CPU is okay for video editing and great for gaming.

GPU - GTX 770 Acx Edition

i would say , this is perfect ... everything is alright .

+1 stick with this build .

i got mine before 6 days , am using the same CPU ... it's beast for the price/performance and great for gaming as you said
am getting +80 FPS in battlefield 3 - Ultra setting 1920x1080
+200 in Counter strike Global offensive and Fifa 13 - max settings .

Ive decided to get the Asus Crosshair V Forumla Z as the Gigabyte one does not ship to Canada /: , but thanks for the reply, I was skeptical about my build because I'm pretty new to this.
