Hi, i'm just wondering what's the difference between these two graphic cards here especially in terms of performances while gaming.

The price difference is minimal- around 30$ and that tempted me to at least take a look at 7870. Oh yes, i'm about to upgrade my pc. That's why i've been comparing these two (my current gpu is hd5770).

More about : sapphire 7850 2gb sapphire 7870 2gb

For the price, forget those two, in the same price range as 7870, get the GTX 760 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... this card beats the hella out of 7950 too. :)

In my country, there's no gtx760. and the closest one to it is gtx770. if comparing prices, 7850/7870 is rm600 while gtx770 is rm2000. that's four times the price of the former.

Oh I see. Anyway, the $30 increase from 7850 to 7870 is totally worth it. You get 20-30% increase in performance depends on the game.

By the benchmark performance, the difference in terms of FPS is...quite ok for me. Averagely around 5-12 fps. If you are in my situation, will you pick the 7870? :??:

If I was in your situation, I'd pick the 7870 anytime, you can also overclock it and get the performance close to a stock 7950 :)

Absolutely. A minimal of 5-12 fps is huge, that is 10% to 30%, it is a dream to pay $1 for a 1% increases. Look at the GTX 780 and GTX Titan both perform ~10% difference but the MSRP difference is ~$350.

Hmmm....looks like everyone is encouraging me to pick the 7870. This is tempting. :)

Go for it! You won't be disappointed for sure also, when you buy any 7000 series card including 7870 of course, you will get a game bundle. http://sites.amd.com/us/promo/never-settle/Pages/nsrelo...;)
