Hello all,

I think I need a new power supply I currently have a Coolmaster V600
(+3.3V@24A, +5V@24A, +12V1@18A, +12V2@18A, +12V3@15A, -12V@0.5A, +5VSB@2.5A). I installed the GTX 650 TI Boost SC, surfing the Net and streaming is fine but 5-10 minutes after joining a MP game my PC shuts down.

So I reinstalled the GTX 550 and everything is fine in MP. Is the power watt supply sufficient for a GTX 650 where the requirements are 12V @24Amps it's the same rating for the GTX 550 or is it just not enough Amps. Also if I purchase a new power supply will higher amps be okay? Say 12 V 24 -30 Amps in that range, or does that really matter.

A few suggestions for a Power supply. I looked at other threads however for my system specs I'm not so sure:

Phenom X4 840T (2.9GHZ)
N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX motherboard
6MB DDR3

It's a older pre-built system and want to extend it's life before I build my PC.

Thanks for reading....

You need a single rail power supply.
