between the 2? kuhler has better test results. Neither is that great. I wouldn't expect a solid load performance on either of those, let alone AIO in general at 4.5

AIO perform almost as good (and in most cases worse) than top end air coolers. I am a watercooling and overclocking nut. But I honestly recommend against AIO for most overclocking. You are better off with a beginner custom loop, or a top end air cooler

Air: Thermalright Silver Arrow, Noctua DH-14, or Phantek (but last i heard they are getting hard to find)
Water: Swiftech H220 (out of stock everywhere but a good bieginner kit) XSPC D5 240 RS, RX, or EX depending on space.

Bottom line, decide what you really want - 4.5 performance, or cheap cooling - you cant have both
*Preemptive strike* I dont want to hear about the awesomeness of H100 either - no better than any listed above

Why should it break your mobo?

Also, not completely sure the 212 evo will handle such an OC. Or at least, it might reach its limits.

Out of curiousity: Why didn´t you go for one of the mentioned air coolers? Or another AiO cooler?

im on a budget, case is too small for all mentioned coolers and the pc store ran out of both water cooling models lol.

AIO coolers aren't that great unless you are really looking for a simple solution with minimal space. Similar performance to good air cooling. Just a word of advice- if the box says 'liquid cooler' on it, that doesn't necessarily mean it will perform in the way a full watercooling loop will. The term 'have your cake and eat it too' doesn't apply with most things...same applies here. There are some other options that could be had by XSPC or Swiftech that can really bump up the cooling performance, but still requires knowledge of how to setup, fill and maintain a watercooling loop.

Just food for thought.

The correct answer is that they both stink. Pay a drop more and get quality. the Swiftech H220 is far better. If you are in the US you can't get it unless you order through a Canadian website like ncix.ca. Goes for $139 plus shipping and is worth every penny. Better radiator, better pump, better tubing , and lower temps.
