Hi, I damaged my motherboard by accident (Asrock p7 extreme) so I got a new board (MSI z77-GP45).

Everything else is the same(GPU, CPU, Ram...etc).

But the performance of gaming went down big time...I used to play WoW on max settings with no problem but now I cant play it even on 50% of the settings.

Any help please?

My GPU is : Nvidia GTX 580

yeah. it's probably a mb driver issue. i'm amazed you could load into windows after making that type of radical change. i'd probably do a fresh OS install. probably will fix your problem.

if you don't want to do that i'd delete all the chipset drivers in the device manager (hell, delete all the drivers) then detect new hardware and let windows reinstall everything. might fix the problem without a fresh install. no promises though.

My CPU is: Intel i7-2600k and nothing was OC'ed before. I have two of "Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz", yet my bios is saying I have 8 GB of physical memory not 16? Could this be the problem?

Thank you
