Which Power Supply would work with the Asus Geforce GTX 760?

So I have just purchased an Asus Geforce GTX 760 from amazon and it's on its way here. http://www.asus.com/us/Graphics_Cards/GTX760DC2OC2GD5/#specifications

I just found out however that i'll need to upgrade my power supply because it needs at minimum 500 watts. The thing is tho, i'm having some trouble finding one. The asus GPU requires "up to 225W1 additional 8 pin PCIe power required" I don't even know what that means.. I'm no computer genius, I just want a nice GPU for gaming. I was looking at some power supply's and barely any have 8 pin slots and i dont know if it is even the right one... I also see alot of 4+4 pin slots. No idea if that is the same thing or not.
Another thing that is not helping is the fact that I have a Dell XPS 8500. I'm pretty sure the case is a micro atx and i don't know what size power supply's would fit into it.

Please, please if anyone can help me out here and recommend some power supply's that would fit my machines requirements I would greatly appreciate it. Also I don't need a fancy power supply. All I need is a bronze certified one and im good.

Get a modular PSU , that means it has seperate cables you dont need to have all cables in the case even if you are not using them like with the normal psus. And avoid Corsair CX500W or more watt from same model. If you tell me your budget and i can look for a psu for you :)

I know but I cannot find one that has a PCI-E 8 pin.

Yea I want a modular PSU haha. The thing is I literally cannot find a PSU with an 8 PIN PCI-E. All I see are ones with 6 pin PCI-E and 6+2 PIN PCI-E.

quick question, I was watching an unboxing video and found out that the cord that comes with the gpu is a 6 PCI-E to 8 PCI-E adapter. So am i dumb and have I been wasting my time looking for a 8 pin PCI-E PSU when all I need is a 6 pin PCI-E PSU. (because the gpu itself has the 8 pin on it so im guessing the psu has to be 6 pin).

All PSU after year of 2008 use to have 2x-6pin connection or also including 8-pin connection. If you PSU have 2x-6pin connection then you're OK, use supply adapter in the box connect 2x-6pin then from other 8-pin connect to the graphic card

Hello guys. I have the same issue but not only with Gpu but also with Mob. If in Asus GPU cable is included then maybe it is ok to change the connectors. But my PSU has only one PCIe cable 6 pin, is it ok ? Some people say it has to have 2 to be efficient.

I have OCZ StealthXStream 2 Power Supply, 500W, 80 PLUS

Can anyone help me with this PSU 8 - 6 Pin issue also for Mob ?

1) Can i Use my PSU with "Asus p8z77-v PRO"
