Well it all started when I was searching through the internet and I believe my computer got a virus, and decided to stop working. It would turn on, but it was just be a plain black screen. So I decided to reformat the hard drive and it worked surprisingly, but after windows 7(64-bit Home Premium) was done installing I got a message that said something like "hard drive is rattling" I think. I thought that it didn't matter so I just clicked never to show again. I also noticed that my laptop was unusually slower. That happened about 6 months ago and this laptop(Toshiba Satellite P755) is only 1 year old. I thought that might be connected to my problem now. Well now my computer is randomly freezing and I just randomly now got the BSOD for the first time on the computer. All I was doing was listening to a song on itunes and looking for a video on youtube, then BAM BSOD. I was really shocked, so the first thing I thought of was to restore the computer to an earlier time, but even after this my computer is still freezing. So, is it time to buy a new laptop? is my hard drive damaged? or is the RAM the cause of this? Would be a shame to get new laptop since this is fairly new. Help would be gladly appreciated. Thank you.
