Misjudged the size of the case I bought (Nanoxia Deep Silence 2). What components do I need to replace to reduce the size?

Ended up costing me £1428.

On arrival of the case I didn't realise how massive it would be! The trouble is I would really like this build to be portable - an aspect which I blatantly overlooked!

My question is what could I send back (including the case) to miniaturise the build. The smaller, the better - without significant performance decrease. Also I would like it to be relatively quiet.

Thanks.

The case you have is a server case. The first link is to mid size atx case.
If you went with that one all need do is check that the CPU cooler height would fit. Or use a 120mm liquid cooler or a shorted c type cooler or a htpc cooler.
There also mini atx cases if you went with one of those most people use and small itx mb. Itx has one video slot and two ram slots. On mini cases limit yourself on gpu card length and size of power supply and cooling.
On the itx case I posted toms hardware build for June-July used that case.
Read up on some of the moding he had to do.

If you went with the taller Silverstone case all need do is replace your full size motherboard with a mini atx and check the height of your CPU cooler to see if it would fit.

I quite like this http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=291 if it's the one you meant. So I would have to change the mobo to a mini micro atx and get a slim CD drive, the cooler dimensions are 12 x 12 x 16 cm, will that fit? Could you recommend some others like it?

Edit: it seems that the dual-fan graphics card wont work with that case, the BitFenix Prodigy looks good though! So I'd need a new motherboard and that would be it?
