I got a new PC recently and I got this problem from the very first boot. I press the power button and the fans spin but the screen stays black. However after turning it on and off again a few times i could get it to start. When it does manage to start up, the motherboard speaker beeps once, when it gets a black screen it doesn't beep at all. I have done a memory test and the graphics card i am using has been switched from my previous computer. Also i have tried 2 different power supplys. When computer does start up, it runs fine.
