I installed call of duty:black ops 2 and then there were "drivers" folder in the cd too.so I decided to give my drivers an update too.there was 1 update for "AMD" and an other for"GFORCE". there was a file named "AMD catalyst". I installed that also!! it wanted a reboot and I gave it one then I faced a blackscreen with a flashing dash at the top left corner!

im really desperate. I think ive just installed the wrong update files.cuz I know my graphic card is gforce so I think I shouldntve installed amd too.
any way, ive tried safe mode with f8 but it says "select boot device"
its notable that my pc makes a sound like its having problem loading some hardwares or sth...
anyway,if I can just undo that last install I can get my pc rolling again!
its notable that my pc had no problems beforehand!!
I even couldve played the callofduty with my unupdated driver
I even didnt need the update
it was a totall mistake and Ill get sad if it doesnt get fixed

btw I try pressing esc when showing "select boot device" and then press f8 repeatedly to go to safe mode but its no hope and I face the black screen...

im wondering if there is anychance by removing the video card and booting normally and unstalling the driver then plugging the card in and instslling the right driver??

any help is appreciated,
thanks in advance,
regards,
sina

Without knowing anything about your computer iy is hard to know how to respond. If you computer has onboard video I would suggest you remove your video card and reboot. On my computers I press the delete key to enter the bios. There I change the video source to onboard. You should be able to boot into Windows without any problem. Then uninstall the AMD and Nvidia drivers. Start your computer again and choose the PCIe for your video card and see if you get the Windows screen.
Try making a hirem boot cd or bootable USB stick and boot from the cd if you can boot from cd...could be a virus or just bad luck you have a hard drive crash. If it bad driver or software if have windows installer cd you can use the recovery tools and try roll back the system using a system restore point.
