I want to buy new hdd. I already have WD green 1 TB 10EARS which I think is very slow. so I want now a fast responsive HDD in minimum budget as could as possible.
I consider Seagate model and WD Blue (for 1 tb) or WD Black (which is costly). my budget is 4,000 - 8,000 INR (65-130 US$). how much difference in performance of WD black and other.
please suggest me best models of all companies and their performance difference..

Solution
Go for new Seagate ST1000DM003/ST2000DM001, it uses less disk layers compared with other manufacturers and therefore has better disk performance and won't be too expensive. (1TB is $60 in the US and 2TB is $90)

However if u find system running slow, I would recommend u get a 120/128gb SSD to install OS and other softwares and games, and keep your WD 1TB disk to store other data like photos and videos
