So you mean what you said an "inverter" not an UPS. I think you use the inverter in power failure situation and it shuts off the PC within few minutes, so the reason could be the inverter was not supplying enough power to run the PC for longer period of time. It also depends on how power hungry is your system. It has nothing to do with your GPU. And frankly I don't understand your real situation. Please post in details and with your full system specs.

Check all the connections or unplug it all and redo the connections. Try the paper clip test on the PSU and see if it functions. If it does then you know it's not the PSU and it's something else.

The problem is being caused by your inverter putting out a non-sinusoidal AC waveform that the Active PFC circuit of the Seasonic X-650 isn't compatible or is unable to deal with.

You need an inverter that outputs AC in a pure sine wave or you need to use a power supply unit with an Active PFC circuit that is able to deal with non-sinusoidal waveform AC input.
