I'm building a new rig, and have the MSI Z87-G45 motherboard, and my PSU is the EVGA Nex750B

This is my first solo build so I'm being very cautious so I wanted to ask something.
The CPU1 power cable from my PSU is a 4+4 pin connector. I dont know the terminology of it but the pins themselves dont match the shape of the input on the board. My PSU is modular and the CPU2 cables have an 8pin that matches the motherboard, however that side needs to be plugged into the PSU itself and the opposite end is the same 4+4 pin

Is it safe to plug them in?

Solution
The 4+4 should plug into the motherboard just fine. The 4+4 is pins are slightly different so it can be split and work on motherboard that use a 4-pin cpu connector.
