Can a modern laptop accept PCM-CIA card size removable media?

Is there a laptop that will host a removeable 1.8 inch SSD? Prefer a hot-swap if possible. A removable 2.5 inch SSD would be acceptable.

For this use, PCMCIA has been replaced by a newer version called ExpressCard.
Another option would be to use eSATA, hot swapable multibay (the spot where your optical drive is currently plugged in) or USB 3.0.
