Hello everyone, I'm in serious need of help picking the right board for my needs. I have narrowed it down to an ASUS Z87 LGA 1150 Socket board; the problem is there are many to choose from.

Here's what I do:
- I'm a print media professional; design, pre-press, production (all in traditional print i.e. Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop... in that order).
- Plus I'm a music aficionado, with some 250GB of music
- I don't game at all... just thought I'd throw out there

Here's the plan so far:
- ASUS Z87 LGA 1150 Socket MOBO
- Intel i7-4770K - 3.5G (OR similar)
- Minimum 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
- Not sure if it should be Standard or Gaming Memory
- Samsung 840 PRO 256 GB SATA 6GB SSD (For Windows 7 OS)
- OCZ 700W PWR Supply (from current build)
- And I currently have various WD 7200 RPM HDD for storage

The question is: which of the many ASUS Mobos within the Z87 lineup is best for me? Thanks to everyone in advance.

since you love Music , you need a good onboard sound

I recommend one of these two mobos for you

1- http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4482#ov

or

2- http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VI_GENE/

they are both 200$ and the best choice for you :)

I like the Gigabyte more

here is a review about it

http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cpu_mainboard/gigabyte_g1_sniper_m5_review_z87_1150_haswell/1

note that both motherboard have very good sound with 115db SNR and 600 ohm amplifier , and shielded sound chip.

the Gigabyte has GIGABYTE AMP-UP Audio you can change ig u wish.

Thank you for your input. I looked and researched the Gigabyte MOBO and I like it very much indeed! I hadn't much thought about the on-board audio before; I was more concerned with speed, cpu, etc. But this Gigabyte may be exactly what I am looking for.

Any opinion on a good GPU card for a graphic designer? Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (in that order). My research says that I should stick to a mid range nvidia GTX. I am rather liking the GTX 660.

I don't do heavy video, nor do I play games. Just heavy InDesign files, Illustrator and Photoshop. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks again!
