Hi I'm helping my friend with a budget music production computer and stuck on the processor. I told him an i5 would be the best but it's out of his budget. He was looking at a phenom but I think the fx6300 would be better, but it doesn't have integrated graphics so I don't know if it will work properly without a gpu. Also how good is the a10-5800k?

Look go in for a A10 cpu u ll get great gaming performance as compared to only 6300 with integrated motherboard graphics
AND THE SYSTEM WILL WORK WITHOUT A GPU this is beacause motherboard itself has integrated graphics so it has a port for connecting the monitor
