Solved First time build for gaming $1000-1200 Tags: Gaming Computers Build Systems Last response: July 21, 2013 8:26 AM in Systems Share tkdwnsdl1991 July 20, 2013 1:38:09 PM Hello, this is my first time building a computer. I've been going around forums doing research, and have come up with this build: CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor Motherboard: ASUS Z87-PRO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply Monitor: Asus VE228H 21.5” LED Monitor Keyboard: Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Wired Gaming Keyboard I have the OS and a mouse already. Budget-wise, I was aiming for around 1000-1200, which, with taxes, I went over with this build. Are there ANY problems with this build? It is much better when it comes to gaming performance as it has a 770 which of course is better than a 760. Also the PSU i selected is of very high quality.
