I'm looking into purchasing a BENQ GW2750HM, 27" VA Panel Widescreen Full LED monitor. It's currently on sale for $190 at a local computer store. The only thing I'll be using it for is gaming. What do you guys think, should I purchase this monitor or a different 27" LED monitor?

I have that exact monitor, got it around 10 months ago and never looked back. I love it.

I play BF3, Tomb Raider, Splinter cell etc and there is Zero input lag. It cost me £180 which is around $275 so If you can get it for $190 I would jump on it, heck I would buy 2 of them.

I bought the 24" version and wasn't impressed at all. Pixel response was no better than some of the slower PVA panels and colour accuracy / uniformity was no better than TN. Possibly the 27" version uses a better panel though.

An excellent review (should tell you everything you need to know):

And a less technical one if you prefer:

These are good monitor. I now have 3 of them. Had to return one other which developed a green line after 6 months but with the 2 year warranty and easy replacement service this was a doddle. A two year warranty on a decent quality budget panel is good value.

I dont see the point in comparing monitors that cost 2-3 times as much in the same breath. If you have much more money to spend get a better monitor with good reviews.

The main question people should ask is do I want 27 or 24 at this resolution ?

I bought a GW2760HM as well and ultimately preferred this earlier model.
