So im about to build my first computer, got all the parts ready to go. Question is, how do i monitor my cpu temp to make sure the cooler is doing its job before windows is installed. Itll take like 30 mins for windows to install so say something is wrong with my cooler and my cpu is getting too hot, how would I know? I really dont wanna mess anything up.

Best solution

Does your BIOS have a CPU temp display? Probably.

Turn it on, let it sit at the BIOS for a while and see what happens.
99.999% of the time you'll be fine.
