Metro Last Light Crashing on Load Screens

Hey guys, I am trying to play Metro Last Light (on steam), but the game is doing its best to prevent me from achieving this. The game is crashing on load screens. I've tried reinstalling my video card drivers, reinstalling the game and deleting my save games (in case of file corruption). Nothing seems to work. If anyone knows of a fix, please let me know. I'm playing on a GTX 770, an FX-8350, 8gb ram, windows 7, and the latest geforce drivers (320.49 i think)... This game is absolutely great, i just wish I could play it :(

I had a similar problem with sniper ghost warrior 2 in that the game would start tab out and become unresponsive. For me it was caused by msi afterburner so close that if you have it. you could also try closing any other monitoring software if you have something different.

So, apparently I am victim of a save game bug. I was fortunate enough to find someone who was sharing a completed game save file download on another forum. This seems to have fixed my problem. Thanks though, I hope ghost warrior 2 works out for you.
