OK, should have asked for mobo before, but sounded like you had it fully populated w/ 8sticks, my bad, sorry (yes beat me, whip me!), but anyway, what mobo?

From the sounds of things, if the sticks in slots side be side, your running in single channel which slows things down, Prob want them in slots 1-3 which should equate to A1 B1, that should run in dual channel and give you a bit of an increase....you are also to a degree bottlenecking the MC (memory controller by only running 2 sticks and further w/ 1333 sticks. Initially I'd pop the sticks into A1 and B1, then ensure the timings are set to 9-9-9-27, depending on mobo the timings may be looser than that like 10-10-10-30, and raise the DRAM voltage to 1.55 and see what that does -...

OK, do you have the latest BIOS? 3.30? can be found here:

Component's look good, what is the DRAM? The model number of the package and is it a single package, with 16GB, I'm assuming a 4x4GB (hopefully) single set, if not it's prob 2 - 2x4GB sets, if so that may be a good part of the problem.....

***also, if you did the CMOS rest make sure you set the correct date/time in the BIOS - if it shows correct, then the Reset prob didn't work
