I have a Veostro 200 that has a maxim of 4gb of ram. I am wondering if I am using Windows 7 I can push that to 8gb of ram.

(I will be adding a 700 watt psu and hopefully then I can add graphics card. The memory I believe will still be the bottle neck at 4gb.)

Hello,:hello:

Unfortunately, 4GB is the max and you cannot upgrade to 8GB. 4GB is the motherboard limitation and not the OS, so upgrading the OS will not help your cause. Probably, it's time for a new PC.

Yes, you're right. The memory will be the bottleneck but with 4GB you are almost able to run most of the software's. 700W PSU, seriously?? :??:  You won't use more than 350W, IMO.

Anyway, good luck. If you need any memory try crucial or this site (http://www.memorystock.com/memory/DellVostro200SlimTowe...)

Adding the 750 watt psu is because I can not run Zotac GeForce 430. :)  And I now what you mean. Thank you for the answer.
