Im using a AMD FX-8320 on a ASUS m5a97 r2.0 motherboard. Under the "core on/off" section in the advanced tab, I only get the option to disable cores "3 & 4", "5 & 6", or "7 & 8". I see to option to disable them individually (Ex. disable cores 1, 3, 5, 7). Is there any way to do this? I'm trying to get a better overclock because I don't make use of the extra cores.

that's because the cores on that CPU are not true "cores" , rather they have one "module" divided into 2 of what they call cores
