Can't find SATA ports on ASROCK Extreme4 Motherboard

I have an ASROCK Extreme4 Motherboard and I cannot find my SATA ports, I don't know what they look like, I don't know where they would be on the mother board. I have never built a computer before, so I don't even know where to start.

Here's Newegg's tutorial on how to build a computer, which you should watch through once and then watch again, pausing to complete each step:

Here's what the sata ports will look like:

Google is your friend while building a computer - I found the above image in about 12 seconds by googling "sata ports extreme 4" and going to images, and the video is one of the first that comes up when you google "how to build a computer."
  2. Download the manual for your board here..

It sounds like your going to need it. Basically they're the grey and black blocks with an 'L' shape port in them.
  3. Well looking for the SATA ports Is not the place to start building. You're also going to want to learn to read your motherboard manual, as there's a picture with the board and all connections right at the start, plus a whole section on SATA. They are also labeled as SATA if you just physically look at the board.

As far as building it it's extremely simple. You should read the guide THEN ask questions if you need help understanding something.

There are pictures of everything, including the SATA Ports and connection instructions. See step 5.
  4. I watched that video multiple times tonight, unfortunately they never actually show what the sata ports look like, they only say "now its time to plug in the sata cable for your hard drive" so that was why I had trouble. After seeing that image, I can say that I saw those plastic boxes sticking up, tried plugging a cable in, but couldn't see what i was doing because of it's position in my case, I'll have to try again tomorrow. Thank you.
