Hello every one

Pboblem: service mode jumper inslalled press F1 to countineu

i have Dell opyiplex 755 Core2duo i have changed my hard drive and now it is showing the message mentioned above system can only boot by pressing F1 please help

Reading the last answer in this post may help: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/p/19298705/19567615.aspx I couldn't find a picture of the mobo, so have to search for the jumper.

You did not say which form factor you have

Next go to Optiplex 755 manual ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_desktop/esuprt_optiplex_desktop/optiplex-755_setup%20guide_en-us.pdf
When open in Acrobat click on bookmarks on the left and select appropriate form factor, there look for System Board Components and Jumper Settings.

If it is not working online, download manual to your PC, use Acrobat reader, which is free http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/.
There is motherboard diagram, which is very difficult to show here and another page of instructions.
