Problem on FX-6100

I Had some problem on my botherboard which was under warranty and gave it to be repaired. They Removed the CPU and Did not re-fit it. So I refitted my CPU. I knew that I needed to remove the old thermal paste and I did so with alchohol (isopropyl 70%) then I applied a new thermal paste(just a pea size drop in the centre) and placed the stock cooler over it(yes I removed the thermal paste from the cooler as well). The Name of my Compound is "ZP Heatsink Compunds"(I live in India Kolkata could'nt find Arctic Silver 5)
Thermal Conductivity:>1.22W/m.k
Thermal resistance:<.201C-in(squared)/w

What should I do?? I have just enough left over for one more application but the CPU temps are still pretty High (45C Idle) and over 75C while gaming. Earlier it used to remain aroud 30C idle and maximum 50C(after about 50 hours of it remaining on and then playing BF3). I am really confused. The processor is barely 3 months old and I am facing such problems I am worried what should I do.
If I am required to buy a new thermal compound then can someone name the compound which can be found in India(Kolkata)??

Solution
the fx6100 is bulldozer arcitecture cpu and it is the worst microarchitecture ever mase by amd. also, expect it to be hotter and more power hungry than others because it's a very bad cpu. change your cpu into an fx6300. it would fit in your board.

45C idle is a little hot and 70C under load is too, but neither are in the extreme regions. You should be OK for now, in the meantime try and find a better CPU cooler, any decent air cooler should do or even a closed loop water cooler if you can find one.

i wouldnt invest a liquid cooler on a bad cpu.

Mate, I am just trying to help a guy who's having problems with his CPU heat. All you're doing is repeating that his CPU is crap. While it may not be as good as your i7, that is not important in this thread.

PS. A liquid cooler (or infact, any cpu cooler) can be re-used

my point is, instead of buying a liquid cooler, in which the price is half of the fx6300 price, he can just save the money and sell the cpu and buy the fx6300 and that will solve the temp issues and will give him better performance.

ps: im not bragging about my i7

I'm just going to ignore what you say as you obviously have no intention of helping the op. For the record a liquid cooler will last 10+ years, and the op might not have the money to buy a new cpu. Note that I said "any decent air cooler should do" as well.

Well, I'm gonna respect you opinion but I stand on what I've said mate. I joined the forum so that I can help others, I won't waste my time in this forum if my intentions were not helping.
