So I recently ordered the new (ish) GTX 770. I was wondering if you guys could give me an idea on how much of a bottleneck there would be with my CPU:
AMD FX 4100.
I bought this card going in with the idea that there WILL be some type on bottleneck in most games I play, but I just need to know if a new CPU is really needed. I'm gonna be playing games like Skyrim, Battlefield 3 (and 4), Crysis 3, and Far Cry 3, etc. at 1920x1080 resolution. Common stuff basically. I plan to max out all of these games (hopefully), but again, I really need to know if theres gonna be a BIG disadvantage from my CPU. I'm planning to buy an FX 8350 later on.
And before anyone asks, I just wanted a GPU that'll last a really long time, so don't go saying "Should have bought a 660 Ti lelelelel" :ange:
Thanks!

There would be some bottleneck but the FX CPU are really not bad. At some point it would be good to upgrade to a FX-8350. I can tell you this though the FX-8350 is very good gaming CPU. I have three rigs a FX-8120 FX-8350 and a i5 3570K and my FX-8350 rig can keep up with my i5 in every way and in every game. You will not be disappointed when you do upgrade to the Fx-8350.
